Well, where do one start... Before paying at checkout, I fully believed that tjis watch was Proudly South African..... But soon realized that its just another South African taking an opportunity to sell Chinese stuff.
Especially when the shipping info came through, and it ships from China!! So oet me be clear to new buyers, there is NOTHING SOUTH AFRICAN about this watch except people taking an opportunity to do business.
That said, dont expect any good shipping communication, BUFFALO logistics is the worst company when it comes down to communication! You reply to their WhatsApp to talk to an agent, and maybe youll get a response the next day, once it arrives, you have to confirm your shipping adress as there will probably be an issue, and then the delivery driver will "attempt" to phone you 17:40 and claim you did not answer your phone, you can stand in the street and you will see he did not even attempt to drive to your adress!! Then you will probably recieve a mail that say your parcel will be send back to the warehouse and will be delivered within 72 hours, and you may be charged a fee because you did not answer the day before.... Then the next day, they will just arrive at your house, with no phonecall and magically find you.
AEGA responded to my mail, and i told themcthe whole story, and im still waiting for a reply from Chris!!!
The watch itself, well, for the price, it is a pretty good, average smartwatch with most bells and whistles the normal guy or girl would need and use daily, its bright and responsive, and whatchfaces can be selected from the app, and have a good variety, it sits realy nice on your arm and the silicone strap is realy comfortable, i did get the steel strap, but have not fitted it yet as its realy comfortable.
The battery life is most definitely not going as ling as they claim, if you use it only for timekeeping, and switch off ALL extras, youll maybe get 20 days, be realistic, have realistic expectations, if you want something with a battery life of 3 weeks, go buy a watch of 10k or more.
To the AEGA team in South Africa, word of mouth is the most powerful means of advertising, play open cards!! Dont be dishonest about the origin of this watch, fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me!!
This watch is everything that it described as. Loving the battery life. Easy interface.
I have had this watch for a couple of months now, and what a good investment. I was not confident that it would sync with my iPhone, but there it was, synced, no problem. It is not "in the way"; it is not too big, not too small; I absolutely love this watch.
The customer service is excellent; they respond at any time and resolve issues quickly. As for the item itself, the value for money is outstanding—it is a high-end watch offered at a very affordable price, and you would be hard-pressed to find anything comparable.el servicio al cliente es excelente te contestan a cualquier hora y te solucionan rápido, en cuanto al artículo relación calidad precio es muy bueno y será difícil encontrar algo parecido es un reloj de gama alta con precio de baja muy bueno.
This device tracks heart rate, steps, calories burned, and more. It has a high-quality design and is very rugged.
Very good quality and simple to navigate you could up loads pictures from your camera roll to the smartwatch
Had this watch for two years and it’s still going. Complimented a lot too. Battery lasts about a week on a charge. Not bad at all for the price
I like watch so far pretty good watch long battery which is a plus ➕️ for me keep track of health stuff and more!!!
Surprised by the quality of the product — it's very complete in features, and the box includes the accessories shown in the reference photo.
This watch is way bigger than described. Far too big really. The entire face is 2”. Even the screen is not 1.39”. It seems like a durable watch, looks cool too, I was excited to get it, but I won’t be wearing it.
So far, day 2, no complaints. Battery life may be a bit overstated unplugged last night around 10 it’s 6 pm next day sitting at 67 percent so maybe 2 days but still not badUpdate - 3/23 - if you turn off Raise to wake the battery life gets better. Unplugged last night around 8 and currently at 620 sitting at 85 percent
It is a wonderful product. Exactly what I was looking for. The only thing that got to me was the delivery. From making payment to delivery was a total of 16 days, including weekends. Other than that, I would highly recommend this product.
Easy to program and sync. My second one. Love it.
So far so good. I have bought and returned probably 4-5 smart watches that had gotten 5 star reviews because they feel way short of their advertised prowess. This actually uses the same app as one of them and I almost returned it on that merit. I’m glad I didn’t. It comes with a handy link removing tool for the metal band, and all of the health features work so far. The only thing I can’t figure out is how to keep the speaker from playing my phone sounds. Everytime I disconnect it it auto reconnects and I have to keep my sound off which is fine I do it anyway, but I use dictation a lot and it uses the microphone as well. I’ll message the manufacturer and figure it out. Anything bad happens I’ll revise.
Awesome watch worth well buying I'm deey pleased with with what I bought, AEGA Did an awesome job getting here before the Holiday.
I love this watch. The battery lasts 4 days without a charge. Looks like a high priced tactical watch. It has a bunch of watch faces you can choose from. Does all the stuff I want, shows incoming text & calls, you can answer calls thru it (not great), control music etc. Has all the health stuff, steps, heart rate etc. I really like the metal link band. It feels durable. Would have given 5 stars but just recently the magnetic charger the attaches to back of watch has connection problems. I have to squeeze it on the back with a small clamp. I'm thinking of buying another one just because of the charging problem I'm having.
The bag is cool. Lots of pockets. The quality is very decent.
I’m really impressed with the AEGA Nomadic Smartwatch. Right out of the box, I received three different watch bands, which means I’ve got one for every occasion—work, casual wear, sports, and even more formal settings. That versatility alone makes it feel like multiple watches in one.Connectivity has been rock solid. The watch stays paired with my phone without random disconnects, only dropping if I physically walk away from it. Battery life is excellent—I could easily stretch it to a full week, but I prefer to charge every three days just to be safe. The build quality is outstanding. It feels solid on the wrist, looks sharp, and the bezel size is just right. I paired it with a glass screen protector, and despite daily use and the occasional bump, there are no scratches or dings. It’s reassuring to know it’s water-resistant up to 5ATM, though I haven’t tested it in the pool yet.Between the 100 sports modes, health tracking features (blood pressure, heart rate, SpO2), and the crisp 1.39” HD touchscreen, this watch packs a lot of value. It’s stylish, functional, and durable—exactly what I was hoping for.I’ll update this review if anything changes, but so far, this watch has exceeded my expectations.
I’m happy with how the watch look and work but the battery don’t last more than two days after charging full. This photo is now from charging it full yesterday it won’t last till end of the day.
Probably the best item I bought. The magnetic slap comes loose - a big problem if you ride a bike. The watch is not as good as they make out - but it's ok for what you pay.
The bag is a great cost-benefit option, it's really worth it, but there are some things you need to consider. It's completely waterproof on the outside but the zipper can get water inside, but it's very difficult. The zipper and the robust construction quality are very good, excellent if you want a larger bag. It depends on which secondary pocket has enough space for daily use, but if you want a large space, it's not for you. And it arrived before the delivery deadline.
