At Aega, we prioritize customer satisfaction. Sometimes our products might not be what you expected, or you receive a faulty item. If that happens, don't worry
— we're here to help with returns, refunds, or swaps.
ABOUT OUR PRODUCTS
Everything we sell at Aega is built with high-quality materials and absolute durability. We use some of the best materials in the industry to make our watches as indestructible as feasibly possible — but we don't recommend holding them over a blowtorch.
Important: Aega smartwatches are consumer wearable devices only. They are not medical devices and are not intended to diagnose, treat, monitor, cure, or prevent any medical condition or disease. Health-related features such as heart rate, blood oxygen, and stress monitoring are designed for general wellness and fitness tracking purposes only. Do not rely on any Aega product for medical decisions — always consult a qualified healthcare professional.

CONDITIONS FOR RETURNS
- Returns accepted within 7 days of delivery for defective items only
- Items must be returned with all accessories in original packaging
- Missing components will result in a R200–R600 deduction from the refund (e.g. screen protector, charging cable, strap)
GUARANTEE
Within 4 Months: If your smartwatch has a fault due to a manufacturing issue (not accidental or water damage), we'll inspect and offer a repair, replacement, or refund. This does not cover damage from drops, misuse, or third-party apps.
After 4 Months: We'll assess your case and advise on what may need service or replacement. If repair is possible, we'll provide a quote up to the original purchase value.
Due to our quality assurance, Aega is not liable for mismanaged or damaged items after the 7-day grace period. If an item is not defective from the onset, there is no risk of fault unless mishandled, misused, or intentionally tested beyond its capabilities.
Guarantee Terms: We replace or refund products that fail due to manufacturing defects only. We are not liable for damage caused by the consumer.

IMPORTANT — NEGLIGENCE PURCHASE NOTICE
We maintain a strict refund policy. Customers who misread or misinterpreted product details and are dissatisfied — with no defect or malfunction present — qualify for a maximum 50% refund only.
REFUND TIMEFRAME
Refunds are processed within 5–8 business days of Aega receiving the returned product.
ORDER CANCELLATION
Orders can only be cancelled within 12 hours of placement. Email info@aega.co.za with subject: CANCEL + ORDER NUMBER, or WhatsApp us.
PACKAGE INFORMATION
- Include your order number and all original components inside the return package
- Attach a photo or video explaining the reason for your return
- Once approved, the product must be shipped back within 5 calendar days
ORDER MODIFICATIONS & INTECEPTIONS
We can adjust item selection, delivery address, shipping method, and more — contact us promptly after ordering.
Address Accuracy: Aega is not liable for errors in customer-inputted addresses. Double-check before placing your order.
Lost/Stolen Packages: If a correctly addressed package is lost or stolen in transit, we offer a full refund.
Packages Returned to Sender or Refused: Upon receipt at our facilities, customers qualify for a no-cost reshipment or a full refund.
SPECIFIC COVERAGE & NON-COVERAGE
INTENTIONAL DAMAGE & MISUSE — NOT COVERED:
The following void all warranty and return eligibility:
- Striking the screen or watch body with any tool or object
- Submersion in saltwater or freshwater beyond the specified water resistance rating
- Exposure to open flames or extreme heat
- Any damage that hinders the device's functionality, use, or enjoyment
PROPER USE: Our warranty covers manufacturing defects and normal use only. Damage from misuse, intentional testing beyond designed limits, or actions contradicting our care guidelines is not covered.
In rare cases of accidental damage from external factors, we may investigate and offer discretionary coverage — assessed case by case.
